If you go biking, walking for the same distance, which one burns more calories?

Walking may burn more calories than biking, and biking may also burn more calories than walking. It depends on how fast you walk and ride.
Approximate calories used by a 154-pound person when walking and biking for 1 hour:
Bicycling (less than 10 miles per hour) 290
Bicycling (greater than 10 miles per hour) 590
Walking (3 ½ miles per hour) 280
Walking (4 ½ miles per hour) 460
