Do you have experience like this, you think about food all the time, sometimes you feel like eating for no reason, even when you are not hungry. So you eat all the time. But this is not good for health. Because overeating is one of the causes of weight gain. If you overeat all the time, some of the excess energy will be stored as fat in your body, the fat accumulate day after day, you finally become overweight or obese. And this make you have higher risk of many diseases.

So, how to not thinking about food and stop overeating?
Here are some tips to help you get rid of that bad eating habit.

  • Drink water when you have the munchies. water can fill your stomach and you feel full, this help you avoid eating more.
  • Do not sit there watch TV when you have free time. Many people incline to eat snacks when they are watching TV.
  • Keep yourself busy, find something other than eating to occupy your time. This can take your mind away from eating. You can tidy your room, go out with friends, go shopping, go out for a walk, do some exercise, or anything enjoyable, just try to distract yourself from the eating feeling.
  • Buy some snacks that you do not like to eat or something taste very bad when you go shopping, do not purchase any other snacks. So, when you feel like eating something, there are only some foods that taste bad or you do not like, this will decrease your appetite.
