Lose 35 lbs in 2 Months, an Attainable Weight Loss Goal?

Losing 35 lbs in 2 months, do you think this is a achievable weight loss goal? I weigh about 215 lbs, 5’9″. I want to shed the extra pounds and get a good shape by the end of October. My first goal is reducing 35 lbs. Now what I am wondering is if I jog a few miles every day, can I achieve my goal? What is an attainable weight loss goal for 2 months? Any suggestion on diet and workout?

A realistic goal is about 10 lbs per month. However, as long as you lose fat by doing hard workout and eating healthy foods, I think you are able to lose more. But 35 lbs, that’s too many as a 2 month goal.

The guideline of healthy weight loss goal is one to two pounds per week. So, 35 lbs is a little more. 15 – 20 pounds will be better. Don’t rush it. As for burning by exercising, patience is the key.

Mix weight lifting with jogging, don’t focus on weight loss, what you should care more is fat loss. Eat more raw veggies and drink more water. Don’t skip any meal. Remove fried fast foods, proccessed sugar from your diet menu.
