How Many Crunches, Sit-ups a Day to Get a Flat Stomach, Six Pack Abs and How Long?

100 – 200 is enough.

Generally speaking, there are two reasons why you don’t get visible abs.
First, your abs is not strong enough.
Second, there is too much fat covers on your abs.

Case 1, if your abs is not big, you can do sit-ups, crunches and other ab workouts to develop. 3 sets of
30 – 50 reps every other day should be OK. Why every other day but not every day? Because muscles
need time to recover so that they can grow bigger and become visible faster.

Case 2, if there is a layer of fat over your abs, the key is getting rid of the fat first. If you don’t lose those
fat, no matter how hard you do abs, you can’t see your abs. You need to run, ride, swim, dance… Do any
of your favorite cardios to burn off the abdominal fat to flat your stomach and uncoverĀ  abs. For cardios, you should do more than half an hour each time, 4 to 5 times a week. And don’t forget to do 3 sets of 30 – 50 crunches, sit-ups, or other types of ab exercises to build abdominal muscles.

How long to get visible abs?
It depends on how much fat on your stomach. If you have little fat, it should take about 3 months to see
some results. If you get much fat, it may take more time. To get washboard six packĀ  abs, it will take more
than 1 year.
