Short reviews of free fat loss programs:

Choose to Lose (by Dr. Goor). Restrains fat intake. One is given a “fat” budget and he’s given the liberty on how to expend it. It doesn’t pressure  the person to watch his carbohydrate intake. Eating meat and poultry also as low-fat dairy and seafoods is OK. A go signal is as well given upon  eating veggies, fruits, cereals, bread and pasta. This weight loss program is reasonably healthy, decent amounts of fruits and veggies also as saturated  fats. Watch triglyceride levels though; if high, reduce the carbohydrates and tuck in more of the unsaturated fats.

Atkins’ New Diet Revolution (by Dr. Atkins). This fat loss plan encourages high protein dieting and a cut down on the carbs. People can feast on  meat and veggies but had better fast on bread and pasta. People is as well not limited against fat intake so it’s O.K. to pour in the salad dressing and  freely spread on the butter. Even so, after the diet, People may find himself lack of fiber and calcium yet high in fat. Intake of  fruits and grains are  also limited.

Eat More, Weigh Less (by Dr. Ornish). Mainly vegetarian menu and strictly low-fat. Gives the go signal upon the “glow” foods but warns to watch it on  non-fat dairy and egg whites. This diet is short in calcium and retricts intake of healthy foods like lean poultry and seafoods .

Carbohydrate Addict’s Diet (by Drs. Heller). The diet program advocates low carbohyrate eating. Approves on consuming meats, veggies and fruits, dairy  and grain foods. however, warns against consuming  too much carb. “Reward” meal may be too high on fats and saturated fats.

The DASH Diet. Recommends fair amounts of fprotein and fat consumption and high on carbs. Mainly designed to lower blood pressure, This diet program  follows the pyramid food guide and Advocates high consumption of whole wheat grains and also veggies, fruits and low-fat dairy. Some people  think it encourages too much eating to procure significant fat loss.
