Does sitting in a sauna help you burn fat or lose weight?
When you are sitting in a sauna, your body sweat a lot to cool down your body, this does use some energy. So, I think it can help you burn some calories. But that won’t be noticeable.
Since you sweat much fluid, you lose water weight after a sauna. But it won’t last long, it is just temporary weight loss. When you replenish yourself with water, you gain the lost water weight back right away. Therefore sitting in a sauna will not help much in weight loss. If you want to get rid of body fat and get into good shape by sitting in a sauna, do not waste your time and money.
However, there are also some benefits to have a sauna.
