There are thousands upon thousands of questions about weight loss are being asked everyday. I don’t know if you have one or not, I have one. My question is not about why people become fat, it is not about how to lose body fat. My question is:
When a person successfully lose fat, do his/her fat cells shrink? Does the amount of his/her fat cells decrease? Or both? Did you thought about his question?
I do some research about it, there are 2 main opinions. They both support that when a person lose fat, his/her fat cells do shrink. But they have different opinions on the situation of the amount of fat cells.
The first one believe that when a person lose fat, his/her fat cell number decreases because some fat cells died.
The second one support that fat cells never go away, they just shrink.
I have no idea which one is correct, what do you think? Can the fat cells disappear?
