Do Diet Pills Work? Do Weight Loss Tablets have Side Effects?

Recent studies have pointed that more people are becoming too fat each year. This takes place not only to grownups but also to children who have just started in school.

This has made many people drop millions of bucks each year to undergo this miracle and has generated drug companies much money producing the drug and selling it.

Diet tablets can be bought either otc or prescribed by a doc. Even with the improvements in medical technology, the drugs still put a health risk to the public. Problems in patients may be unpleasant like vomiting and diarrhea, harmful like tightness in the urinary tract and in the chest, and fatal like a stroke or a heart attack.

An o.d. in using weight loss pills can lead to confusion, tremors, shallow breathing, heart attack, hallucinations, renal failure and convulsions.

The side effects vary depending upon the health and lifestyle of the people and could be minimized as long as one consults the doc and sticks to the prescribed dosage while using it.

Should people choose to stop using those drugs, studies have pointed that a person will undergo side effects and withdrawal symptoms.

These include detectable mood swings, hyper-activity, and pain in the belly, extreme fatigue, severe irritability, insomnia and nightmares, nausea, vomiting, depression and trembling.

Many clinical tests will point that having the weight loss pills really work. But this may only work if it’s done with an exercise plan and a low calorie diet.

One can jog every morning or do exercise in a gym. As like taking any medicine, one had better first consult the doc before doing any form of work out.

The best work out plan should include weight training exercises and cardiovascular. This helps consume calories and increase the muscle to fat ratio that will increase ones metabolism and help lose weight faster.
