Do crunches get rid of love handles?

I have a pretty nice body in general but have a bit of annoying love handles, I am doing as many crunches as I can everyday, will this help? Would you please tell me what is the best exercise to do to get rid of fat especially the love handles? Any ideas to make my love handles disappear?

    Crunches help tone up your midsection, but it is not a good idea to lose love handles by doing only crunches.
    This is how I get my belly flat and toned:
    30 mintues to an hour jogging every morning. If you can’t run for long, go brisk walking.
    3 to 4 sets of 30 crunches or sit-ups every other day.
    It is simple, but it does work.
