Will running 1 mile a day help you lose weight?
For the past 5 months, I’ve gained 38 pounds and I’m extremely out of shape now, so I decide to start running 1 mile a day from next Monday, do you think one mile per day is enough to make me lose weight? Or should I run longer? How long to see weight loss results if I stick to it?
The key to weight loss is calorie deficit. That means you need both exercise and healthy eating. They both matter.
In my opinion, don’t focus on how many miles you run, but focus on how much time you exercise. In order to lose fat effectively, it is recommended to exercise more than 30 minutes each time. So, I suggest you run slower to go longer time.
